The Evaporator plays a major role in an effective air conditioning system. This can be divided into two main functions: Firstly, it removes heat from inside the vehicle by acting as a heat exchanger. The refrigerant enters the evaporators, is boiled, allowing it to absorb heat from the main cabin. The second function; allows moisture to be pulled from the cabin acting as a dehumidifier, creating a more comfortable environment for the passengers. The heat is taken from the evaporator to the compressor by the evaporated coolant.
